Virgin Galactic Unity is the spacecraft that will be used for future missions and space tourism by the company, led by Sir Richard Branson. The company would focus on space tourism and partnerships of different companies.
According to the recent Third quarter financial results from Virgin Galactic, there were a total of 700 tickets sold with its commercial space tourism program aboard the VSS Unity. This is a massive achievement for the company as it hits its target for the flight which would occur at intervals of four to six people on board.
Virgin said it was 700 of the company’s 1,000 target ticket sales, focusing on the many offers it has for a seat in space. It would be one of the world’s first offerings in space tourism, with a price close to the expected value for this company.
Soon it would be more affordable for people, giving everyone a chance to get into space with companies like Virgin Galactic, SpaceX, Blue Origin, and more.

Virgin Galactic: will prices change?
Virgin Galactic tickets have changed in price since the launch of ticket sales in August. The original price was $250,000, but increased to $450,000 in the future.
Now, it’s unclear if that price would have another increase from Virgin Galactic or Branson, but it’s still the price of the remaining 300 tickets or less offered by the company.
Virgin Galactic Space Tourism
Sir Richard Branson was among the first civilians to reach orbit outside the area humans consider to still be on Earth, earlier this year with Virgin Galactic’s human test flights. The company has made its mark in the field of space tourism, bringing a new future to humans in hopes of having the chance to experience this feat.
Ticket sales for Virgin Galactic’s VSS Unity are massive, especially since the company has awarded up to 1,000 tickets for this venture, giving everyone a chance to get their space experience soon. However, it is only for the well-to-do, as it costs as much as luxury cars at $450,000 now and $250,000 before.
SpaceX’s Elon Musk is known to have bought a reserved seat in the company’s business as well, and that’s a massive endorsement from one of the most notable people to ever buy from Virgin Galactic. The Mojave-based space company takes a different approach to space travel, especially as it focuses on having two jets to fly its spacecraft, helping it reach orbit.
