JMC Councillor, Inder Singh Soodan, begins construction work on a bridge at Nanak Nagar.

JAMMU, 15th October: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) councilor, Inder Singh Soodan of ward number 44 here today has started construction works for a bridge between wards 11 and 12 of Guru Nanak Nagar.
As the local people were suffering a lot in recent years due to the water from the Nallah entering their homes during the rainy season, damaging household items, they visited Councilor Soodan who in turn took up the problem with the authorities of the JMC and finally funds have been released for the work started today.
Speaking on the occasion, Soodan said that once completed, the bridge will solve many problems in the region.
He also assured residents of his neighborhood that the remaining works in the neighborhood will also be completed in a phased manner.
Those present at the occasion included JMC field staff, S. Bhupinder Singh, S. Parminder Singh Sandhu, Mantu, Imran Dutta, Manjotpal Singh and Supervisor Imitiaz, among others.
